At Motivo Dental, we do everything we can to keep your teeth long as possible. However, sometimes it may be necessary to remove a tooth to improve your oral health. In these cases, we perform dental extractions which completely removes a tooth from its spot in the jaw bone. Some of the reasons for tooth extraction include: unrestorable damage or decay, fractures that extend down the root of a tooth, if a patient is unable to complete root canal therapy, to aid in the proper growth of permanent teeth in children, in preparation for orthodontic treatment, or wisdom teeth that are not able to properly erupt into the mouth.
